WoW Forever Beta Build Lifts the Level Cap to 30
A new WoW Forever Beta build raises the level cap to 30, opens more dungeons, and cuts extra experience from dungeon quests.
Blizzard put a new build on the WoW Forever Beta.
The level cap is now 30. Excavation Site: Wetlands is a new dungeon for levels 26-31, and Razorfen Downs (25+) and Uldaman (30+) are available on top of the dungeons already in the beta. Darnassus and Thunder Bluff have barbershops, all barbershops have barbers working, and city guards will give directions to them.
They cleaned up the camping text. The Boosted Rest debuff has a different icon and a rewritten tooltip, and the wording now says "mutually exclusive" instead of just "exclusive." Campfires no longer deal damage to players below level 5, and they deal less damage if you're under 90% health.
Shapeshift forms are immune to Disarm, Tiger's Fury is gone, and Feral has a new talent, Shifting Power, with Improved Shifting Power under it. Hunter and Warlock pets have Aggressive Mode back under the pet tab in the spell book. Mage scrolls from Comprehension can no longer be cast while moving. Warriors generate 75% increased Rage on a critical basic attack, and Rend and Sunder Armor instantly tap the mob.
PvP gear and upgrade tokens cost more Honor, most item costs went up about 50%, and the Honor cap rose from 15,000 to 25,000. Dungeon quests now give 50% less bonus experience over a normal quest. Blizzard's note on that is, "We've heard a great deal of feedback about playtesters leveling too fast. In this build, we're reducing the experience granted by dungeon quests."
If you sell a BoE to a vendor and haven't collected the appearance, it becomes soulbound. Ray Traced Shadows is gone until Blizzard fixes it and puts it back. Rain is easier to see, weapon sizes in hand and on the back are more consistent across races, and the Night Watchman's Torch lag is fixed. Respawn rates went up across Hillsbrad Foothills, Ashenvale, Wetlands, Duskwood, and Thousand Needles.
