What wowforevernow.com collects about visitors, which is little: visit counts through Google Analytics, nothing you type, and no accounts.
WoW Forever Now is a fan channel about World of Warcraft: Forever, and this is its website. This page says what the site collects when you visit, what it does not, and what you can turn off. It covers wowforevernow.com only.
The short version
The site has no accounts, no sign-up forms, no comment boxes and no newsletter. It never asks for your name, your email or a payment. It counts visits with Google Analytics, and that is the only tracking on it. We do not sell data about visitors, and we do not share it with anyone beyond the services named on this page.
Visit counts (Google Analytics)
We use Google Analytics 4 to see how many people visit and which pages they read. Google's script runs when a page loads and sets cookies in your browser so a return visit is not counted as a new person. Through it we see totals such as page views, the site a visit came from, the country or city a visit came from, and the kind of device and browser used. We do not see who you are, and we do not try to work it out.
Google handles this data under its own terms. Its page on how Google uses information from sites that use its services explains what it does with it.
You can turn this off:
- Install Google's Analytics opt-out add-on for your browser.
- Block or clear cookies for this site in your browser's settings.
- Use a private window, or a browser or extension that blocks analytics scripts. The site works the same without them.
Search statistics
Google Search Console shows us which searches led people to the site and how many clicked. Those are totals for each search phrase. They do not identify a person.
Hosting
The site is served by Vercel. Like any web host, Vercel receives your IP address and the details of each request in order to deliver the page and keep the service secure, and it keeps standard server logs. We do not use those logs to identify visitors.
The tier list
The spec tier list saves your ranking in your own browser's storage so it is still there when you come back. A share link carries the ranking in the link itself. Nothing you arrange on that page is sent to us.
Videos
Posts that go with a video embed YouTube's player in its privacy-enhanced mode. YouTube receives your request when the player loads, and it may set its own cookies when you press play. Watching on YouTube is covered by Google's privacy policy.
Links to other sites
The site links to YouTube, X and TikTok, and to Blizzard's own pages. Each of those has its own privacy policy, and this page does not cover them.
Our own tools
We run our own tools that read the channel's statistics through Google's APIs: YouTube, Search Console and Google Analytics. They sign in to the channel's own Google account and read the channel's and the site's own numbers. They never connect to a visitor's Google account, and visitors cannot sign in to them.
Children
The site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Questions and changes
The fastest way to reach the channel is a reply or message on X or a comment on YouTube. If this page changes, the date below changes with it.
