WoW Forever Beta Is Closed Ahead of the November 4 Launch
Blizzard closed the WoW Forever beta and set character creation for October 27 ahead of the November 4 launch.
Blizzard closed the WoW Forever beta. The team is grateful to everyone who showed up over the last five weeks to playtest, gather data, report bugs, and give feedback.
Blizzard is taking a few days to work on priority issues and the game service so it's ready for the November 4 launch.
Character creation opens Tuesday, October 27, so you can pick your ruleset and grab the name you want before launch. Blizzard’s line on it: “You won’t have to wait until the game launches to make these big decisions.”
The WoW Forever Podcast also continues next week. Episodes already out cover the beta launch, speedrunning classes, dungeons with the devs, PvP, and an end-of-beta special.
Blizzard said details on dungeons, the Campfire system, and raids are up on the WoW site. The team is looking forward to November 4.
