WoW Forever Stress Test Is October 19
Blizzard opens WoW Forever on live regional hardware October 19 for a few hours, then wipes every character and brings the beta back.

Blizzard is holding a WoW Forever Stress Test on October 19. Before it starts, Blizzard takes the WoW Forever Beta offline, then opens WoW Forever on the regional hardware it will run on at launch.
Start times are regional, not the same moment: 19:00 CEST for the EU, 2:00 p.m. PDT for the Americas and Oceania, and on October 20 at 5:00 a.m. in Taipei and 6:00 a.m. in Korea. Blizzard's line on who can get in: "Any player with a WoW account is eligible. No active subscription is needed."
Once you are in, Blizzard wants a character made, a few quests done, some items traded, chat used, and groups formed, so the servers get load. Blizzard called it useful because players help find issues that would otherwise show up on launch day.
WoW Forever stays on those production realms for a few hours. When the stress test shuts down, every character is deleted and the Beta opens again. On that wipe, Blizzard wrote: "This is a complete wipe; names and everything else will be completely removed." They closed with thanks and "We'll see you there!"
